Although the ages of the band’s members only range in age from 20 to 22 they share a sophisticated sensibility that comes from playing music together since high school.
Their 12-song self-titled debut album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, The Shins, My Morning Jacket), and recorded at Los Angeles’ Sunset Sound Studios and Kingsize Studio. Young The Giant release their debut album in Australia on May 6th 2011 through Roadrunner.
Their first Australian single ‘Apartment’ will be released digitally on Feb 4th and the video is debuting across the world right now. Crooning guitar hooks are met with frontman Sameer Gadhia’s irresistible melodies. Here’s the clip!
