Mt Gambier five piece Admella are hitting us right in the feels with the emotionally charged “Castle“. Released last weekend, we’re stoked to be naming it as today’s Track of the Day!
Consisting of frontman and guitarist Thomas Wilson, Jacob Bradley on keys, Gavin Robertson on guitar, bassist Adam Elkins, and drummer Andrew Cowley, Admella have been pretty quiet over the past few years, but now they’re back and more focused than ever.
The first single from upcoming EP TRAGIC (following on from 2011’s DEAD), “Castle” pays tribute to a former band member, who passed away in 2017. A truly heartfelt rock ballad, blended with hints of pop punk hooks, it seems fitting that this exploration of the band’s collective grief ends the group’s three year hiatus.
