The Chef behind Three Michelin starred Italian restaurant Reale is coming all the way from the mountains of Abruzzo, Central Italy to pop-up in Perth.
Announced exclusively for the middle of October, award-winning Perth restaurant Wildflower will be hosting a very special event when they welcome Chef Niko Romito to the kitchen, from which the highly celebrated culinary master will put together a six-course menu with matched Italian wines.
Chef pop ups are a regular occurrence throughout Australian now, but its not everyday something on this scale happens for one-night-only. That night is Tuesday 15th October, for which Romito will be presenting dishes like Spigola marinata, maionese e piselli (marinated sea bass, mayonnaise and green peas) as well as a taste of Romito’s signature deceptive simplicity with his Cocomero e pomodoro (watermelon and tomato). The culinary adventure will conclude with Limone, cioccolato, mosto d’uva e liquirizia, featuring the intriguing flavours of lemon, chocolate, grape must and liquorice.
“The philosophy of Wildflower and Reale is very similar as we both share a common passion for sourcing the finest and often lesser-known local ingredients and respecting their delicate seasonality,” said Wildflower’s Head Chef Matthew Sartori who will welcome Romito to the restaurant, which is located at the award-winning COMO The Treasury.
Guests looking to pair the dinner up with a stay at the highly sought hotel will be able to do so at a reduced rate of $395 per night. That also happens to be the cost of a ticket to the dinner, which will no doubt be a dining experience to remember.
