It is with great regret that Chugg Entertainment, in conjunction with Nettwerk Music Group, today announces that sadly the Court Yard Hounds will be unable to participate as part of A Taste of Lilith this October.  Due to re-routing of the tour, the Court Yard Hounds regrettably have had to postpone all scheduled appearances in Australia until a later date yet to be announced.

This grandiose celebration of female talent will however still go ahead with Canadian chanteuse, Sarah McLachlan, at the helm, as well as Australia’s own Kate Miller-Heidke and The Verses.

The Taste of Lilith tour begins on Monday, 4 October at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney as planned, before heading to Melbourne on Wednesday, 6 October at the Palais Theatre (previously scheduled for Tuesday, 12 October), after which the tour will conclude on Sunday, 10 October at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (previously scheduled for Saturday, 16 October).  Regrettably the Adelaide show scheduled for Sunday, 10 October has been cancelled.

Adelaide ticket holders will be required to return to the point of purchase for a full refund on their tickets.

All tickets purchased for the Melbourne Palais Theatre event on Tuesday, 12 October will now be valid for the same seats on the rescheduled date of Wednesday, 6 October, 2010.  Likewise, existing ticket holders for the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre show on Saturday, 16 October, will now be valid for the same seats on the rescheduled date of Sunday, 10 October. In the case that you cannot attend the rescheduled show, please return your tickets to Ticketmaster (Melbourne) or Ticketek (Brisbane) by Friday, 10 October to receive a full refund.

For each ticket sold, A Taste of Lilith will donate $1.00 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.  Liz Heliotis, Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation CEO & Co-Founder, said  “In Australia, one woman in Australia dies every 10 hours from ovarian cancer; an intolerable statistic that can only be changed through supporting research towards the development of an early detection test. Tragically, over 50% of the population incorrectly think that a pap smear detects ovarian cancer.”

Don’t miss the rare chance to see three incredible female talents on the one intimate stage this October.
