US Band Neon Trees to pop by Australia for a Promotional Tour in February!

“Habits is filled with Eighties pop meshed with bombastic alt-rock choruses — like the Killers playing backup for Duran Duran” Rolling Stone

“Melding pop-punk riffs with a tinge of electro, alternative rock act Neon Trees bring the fist-pumps to the dance floor” Billboard

Neon Trees are heading to Australia for the first time from February 9 to February 13. The first taste from the new pop rock sensation is their single “Animal”, which has already sold Platinum in the US and reached #3 on the Australian National Airplay Chart (The Music Network) and #1 iTunes Alternative Chart. Neon Trees signed to Mercury Records in 2008 after the band was asked by The Killers’ drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr to open for them on a string of North American dates. Prior to The Killers, Ronnie Vannucci Jr and Neon Trees bassist Branden Campbell played in a band together. Neon Trees debut major label album HABITS is available February 18.

Neon Trees are a combination of slick pop hooks and sturdy organic rock, both melodic and hard-hitting, their anthems of adolescent angst, longing, love lost and found, delivered with the kind of heart-on-the-sleeve passion that only comes from hard work and commitment.

While in Australia Neon Trees will perform at a VIP showcase at Home The Venue, Cockle Bay Wharf on Thursday February 10.
