We can’t get enough of this new track from Sydney’s WIM – check out the beautiful new music video for their new single “See You Hurry”. Thanks, Modular Records!
Do note this video contains nudity and may not be safe for work! The video was produced by Collider production studios, under the watchful eye of Daniel Askill (Sia, UNKLE, Phoenix, Placebo).
MORE ABOUT THE BAND:
Forming in late 2007, WIM are a band harking back to classic pop and timeless folk, whilst facing steadfastly forward toward modern indie/art rock. Think: The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and Neil Young, meets Grizzly Bear and Devendra Banhart.
WIM’s debut record was produced by local legend Tony Buchen (Andy Bull, Ray Man 3, Kid Confucius), mixed in L.A by industry aristocracy Bob Clearmountain (Springsteen, Roxy Music, INXS), and mastered by Bob Ludwig (Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix).
Fresh from winning Triple J’s Sydney St Jerome’s Laneway Unearthed Sydney Competition, they opened the main stage with such luminaries as Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Beach House, Deer Hunter, as well as label mates Cut Copy. Always a festival highlight, they have also played at Sydney Festivals Playground Weekender and Secret Garden, amongst a horde of live shows around the East Coast of Australia. This week, they will be co-headlining a special show at Sydney’s Basement with Grace Woodroofe.
