So, let’s learn a little bit about Winter People. They are a six-piece post-rock/folk band from Sydney with no less than five vocalists and two violinists. Epic. They are currently on a national tour with Busby Marou. And they have a debut album due for release in early 2012!
Off that album comes this track, “Winterbone”, which has been mixed by Peter Katis (Interpol, The National, Jonsi) and produced by Tim Whitten (Augie March, The Go-Betweens, Hoodoo Gurus). Also epic. Enjoy the following clip…
