the AU interview: Richie Lewis of Tumbleweed (Wollongong) talks about their first performance since Jay Curley's passing.

Larry Heath interviewed Richie Lewis from Tumbleweed before they hit the stage at the inaugural Sydney based street festival Young Henry’s Small World, to talk about the event and what was their first performance together since the sudden and untimely passing of their bass guitarist Jay Curley.

Since filming this interview, the band have announced they would be releasing a new single in “Drop In the Ocean” (you can watch the clip below) and undertaking a brief tour this November – both in tribute to Jay. Dates are here:

Thursday, November 13 – Gasometer, Melbourne
Friday, November 14 – Gasometer, Melbourne
Saturday, November 15 – River Rocks Festival (Barwon Club Hotel in Geelong)
