Show everyone wanted to attend, but probably didn’t: Death cab
A change to the CMW strategy this year saw the addition of a number of huge names added to the lengthy festival by attaching themselves to major Live Nation events (and others), allowing limited wristband holders in or via a ballot. Naturally this meant for some enviable concert experiences for some, none perhaps more so than the double punch of The Antlers and Death Cab For Cutie. Any show listed as “concert ballot only was not eligible for awards in any category but this one”.
