Therabody’s fourth gen expands the world of Bluetooth massage theraguns

Therabody

Rethinking their well-received smart massage guns, Theragun have today announced a swift rebranding. Now known as Therabody, the tech-wellness company has welcomed the arrival of its fourth generation percussive massage devices, focused around the brand’s new proprietary motor, muting a common complaint with QuietForce Technology, and sharpening their focus on Smart Percussive Therapy. And it’s all tied together by a new and improved app.

In addition, the company will also be launching a USDA certified organic CBD line called TheraOne to their bank of natural wellness solutions. Although TheraOne is not yet confirmed to be launching in Australia, most likely due to the restrictions still surrounding the industry.

Aussies will, however, be able to get their hands on the new massage guns. And there’s several of those in the new generation, including a new $349 Theragun Mini, a pocket-sized device aiming to balance portability with quality muscle treatment.

The new line will include Therabody’s most powerful brushless motors yet, coupled with the ground-breaking QuietForce Technology (said to put the sound on par with an electric toothbrush), 16mm of amplitude, 2,400 percussions per minute, and enough power for quality deep muscle treatment.

A stronger focus on Bluetooth also means users will be able to use their smartphone to activate various wellness routines based on individual health activity data inputted via the app.

The Therabody app also provides routines based on ailments, body parts, and activities showing the specific muscle, ideal length of time, most effective speed, and the amount of pressure that should be applied. It’s also able to control and customise the device’s speed and pre-program wellness routines.

“With the launch of TheraOne and our 4th generation of percussive massage therapy devices, it was a natural progression for us to evolve into this next chapter of becoming Therabody”, said Dr. Jason Wersland, Founder and Chief Wellness Officer of Therabody. “Since the day I invented Theragun to help me with the pain caused by a motorcycle accident, our mission as a company has been to help others with their muscle tension and soreness, whether it’s for an injury, an ailment or working out. We want our customers to know under certain circumstances there are alternatives to taking pain medication and Theragun has been one of them”.

The release, now available online and soon enough in stores like David Jones, Bing Lee and Harvey Norman, includes the following devices
