If you’re after some new coastal acoustic sounds, then look no further! We’ve got the latest from WA singer-songwriter James Abberley, and we’re loving it’s gentle folk-like vibe.
“You’re The One” follows on from recent release “Drifting“, and it’s got a passion to it that belies its laidback, easy-listening veneer. It’s a real slow-burn, and a great showcase for Abberley’s tender vocals.
Of the track, Abberley says:
“‘You’re The One’ is about that moment when you are trying to fall asleep, but no matter what you do, you just can’t get that person that you love or want out of your head. It’s amazing to me that you can feel like a slave to your own thoughts.”
