Beyond the City’s second day continued the party in Melbourne to see out 2021. The second day had a heavier focus on bands on the main stage while the dance stage was a non-stop party throughout the day and early evening.
Lime Cordiale and Ball Park Music were two of the biggest drawcards throughout the day, with production powerhouse Hayden James closing the festival out and seeing in 2022.
The second day doubled down on the energy that was produced in the crowd on day one, but the searing heat did take a bit out of everyone in the early afternoon as it hit a top of 38 degrees.
Cosmos Midnight, Jaguar Jonze, and King Stingray also joined the stage and made a brilliant foundation of energy to build on. Sidney Myer ended up being the perfect location for the COVID safe iteration of the festival, allowing for people to not only enjoy the music but make sure it was easily accessible as well.
