Exclusive Video Premiere: Aodhan “All That I’ve Wasted” (2023)

Aodhan

We’ve been a fan at the AU of young singer/songwriter Aodhan since 2020 when we landed upon the then fifteen-year-old. We caught him supporting Seeker Lover Keeper last year in Sydney and were blown away by his performance. Last week he dropped his latest single, “All That I’ve Wasted”, a melancholic look at a past relationship, wondering ‘what if’. This will be an emotion that will resonate with many.

We’re thrilled today to be premiering the video for “All That I’ve Wasted”. It’s an animation clip, featuring Aodhan flying about in his little aeroplane, musing on the relationship that didn’t work out.

About the track, Aodhan writes: “‘All That I’ve Wasted’ is a song I wrote at a time where I began to reminisce on a past relationship, wishing I could have it all back thinking I made a mistake.“.

“All That I’ve Wasted’ was produced by Aodhan himself, along with Ryan Miller, who Aodhan has worked with on his last two singles and on his debut EP Flies In My Room (2021).  Ryan helped mix the track, and it was mastered by Paul Blakey.

The video was created by Listen To The Graphics. About the process of creating an animated video, Aodhan told the AU, “It was a pleasure working with Listen To The Graphics on this clip, they’ve done an incredible job on my first animated video”

More music is on its way from the talented musician. His next EP is due to drop on the 26th of May.

You can find Aodhan on Facebook and Instagram.
