Over their last two ethereal records – Strange Trails and Long Lost – Lord Huron have now fully realised their unique blend of Americana, with a more than subtle nod to Roy Orbison and the Phil Spector approach to production.
The band’s sold out show at The Tivoli was an absolute treat for long waiting fans wanting to see the band perform live and hear these soundscapes and reverb-soaked songs delivered by frontman Ben Schneider in glorious voice and performance.
The band created a wall of sound that filled The Tivoli with huge highs and almost hushed moments of quiet, all while looking like a house band in a David Lynch film. Photographer Chris Searles was there to capture the action:
