After seven mammoth nights in Australia – three in Melbourne, followed by four in Sydney – Taylor Swift has officially ended her the down under leg of her Eras Tour. And with it, she’s debuted a whole lot of exclusive mashups that have been the envy of fans worldwide.
While Aussies usually draw the short end of the stick for a lot of big international tours, given the distance it takes to get here, it seems Swift actually gave her down under fans something pretty special. And it’s apparently causing waves of jealousy and rage across the internet as Swifties imply preferential treatment.
That preferential treatment has come with the “surprise songs” that Taylor plays each set. As the Eras Tour rolls on, the 34-year-old is obviously running out of “surprises” that are exclusive to each and every show. And in a twist of creativity, she’s lately been not only busting out unexpected classics, but performing special mash-up version to give fans something they’ve never heard before.
For her final night in Sydney, for example, Taylor first performed “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” and mashed that with elements of “ivy”. And if that wasn’t enough excitement for the tends of thousands of screaming Swifties, the singer also performed “Forever & Always” mashed-up with “Maroon.”
Given the unprecedented level of demand surrounding these concerts, it’s understandable that Swifties around the world would feel slightly short-changed that they weren’t also there. The most wholesome and positive people in the world, it seems, can also be jealous and vengeful at times.

Now that Taylor Swift’s time in Australia for the Eras Tour has come to an end, the singer is next off to Singapore where she play a whopping six shows. Paris then gets four shows, Stockholm gets three, and then Swift travels all over Europe visiting cities like Lisbon, Liverpool and London. Currently, the Eras Tour is schedule to wrap the year in Vancouver with three shows from December 6th to December 8th.
In other news, Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, has been accused of punching a member of the paparazzi in the face during their visit to Sydney. These are, however, only accusations and since Scott Swift isn’t Kanye West, he’s most likely innocent whether he did it or not.
