‘An Evening With Marlon Williams‘ was simply that, a seated theatre style show with Marlon alone on stage… sometimes acapella with his head covered by a hoodie and lit by dark orange lights, or joyously dancing around the stage with his soaring voice guiding us to another world.
An intimate, personal and at times very funny show with incredible vocal, guitar and piano talent for all to see and hear, singing many Maori folk songs as part of his two-part set – and even a rolling chess game with an audience member to fill the between song gaps. What a special evening that we will remember for an age.
