Marlon Williams graced the Melbourne Recital Centre for night two out of three of his An Evening with Marlon Williams tour. Presented as a stripped-back version of his usual energy-filled sets, the stunning historic theatre setting warmed up the chilly Melbourne crowd. Williams’ was his usual affable self, garnering laughs and applause interspersed with immense quiet from the audience, almost caught off guard by his incredible performances. Highlights included “Promises” and “Thinking of Nina”.
