The rumours are true – Charli XCX will be headling Laneway festival 2025. She will only be playing Laneway, so that’s your only chance to see Charli down under next summer.
Joining the lineup is British bedroom pop star Beabadoobee, who won legions of fans when she performed in Australia in 2022. Also returning to Laneway is Clairo. The UK is well-represented with dance duo BICEP who will present their CHROMA AV DJ Set, and neo-soul star Olivia Dean.
Amongst those whose visit to Australia will be their first is LA shoe-gazers julie. Joey Valence & Brae will be bringing their energetic hip hop, and one of the buzz-bands of New York City, Fcukers are on the bill. Also from the UK is dubstep DJ Hamdi and the enigmatic electropop artist 2hollis.

About the lineup, Laneway Festival Programming Coordinator Ruby Miles, says “This has to be my favourite Laneway lineup we’ve ever put together – I’m such a fangirl of all of these artists! Having Charli xcx as our headliner is a dream come true, but the lineup’s depth from gates open until gates close will make Laneway 2025 so special.”
