After finally making their debut visit to Australian shores in early 2023 after a multitude of false starts, the boys from the better land, Fontaines D.C., have announced their return down under with a string of massive headline shows matched with a couple festivals slots.
On the back of this year’s stellar Romance, featuring the daunting and aggressive “Starburster” and song of the summer “Favourite”, the Irish lords are primed to bring their back catalogue (2019’s Dogrel, 2020’s understated A Hero’s Death, and 2022’s Skinty Fia) to huge venues across Aus and New Zealand, ably supported by English four-piece Wunderhorse.
Tickets for the Fontaines D.C. tour go on pre-sale Wednesday 30 October (local time) with general public release scheduled for 9am Thursday 31 October.
