Mother Mother took the stage at The Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday as part of the world tour for their new album, Grief Chapter, released in February this year. This unforgettable evening of indie-rock tunes was perfectly paired with support from Ūla, who had previously supported Mother Mother on their ‘INSIDE’ tour of AUS last year.
The venue was packed with committed fans eager to see the band live, with hundreds lining up for hours in the pouring rain outside the venue. Known for their vocal-driven rock songs, the Canadian indie-rock band highlighted their entire discography throughout their 90-minute set. With fan favourites like, “Hayloft”, “Verbatim”, “Burning Pile” and “Arms Tonite”, their perfectly curated setlist had the crowd up dancing and singing every word.
As they reach new heights and further expand their music catalogue, Mother Mother continue to set the bar even higher.
Emma Belas was there to capture it all.
