Squid Game: The Experience is finally here at Luna Park Sydney

Luna Park Sydney officially unveiled its new, highly-anticipated immersive attraction, Squid Game: The Experience, at the grand opening last night, marking a significant milestone in the Park’s transformation into a world-class experience destination.

Among the attendees were prominent figures, including the Minister for Arts, Nighttime Economy, Music and Minister for Jobs and Tourism, John Graham. John Hughes, CEO of Luna Park Sydney, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing the world of Squid Game to Luna Park Sydney, designed and produced by world-class creatives based in Sydney. The show is one the most watched shows globally on Netflix, and our experience enables visitors to fully immerse themselves with challenges, games and a bit of luck – all under the watchful eye of the Front Man.

This partnership with Netflix further cements our direction to be a globally renowned destination for experiences that create escapism, wonder and joy. We can’t wait for Sydneysiders to see Squid Game: The Experience during what we’re anticipating to be our biggest Summer on record.”

Opening its doors tomorrow – Saturday, 14th December – ticketholders will have the opportunity to face a series of intense challenges inspired by the hit Netflix show. Guided by the infamous Front Man, they’ll take on iconic and nerve-wracking games that fans know and love (or fear) from the global phenomenon. Players can expect to fully immerse themselves in Squid Game: The Experience, with game-changing sound, powered by Sonos. They will have the chance to outsmart the eerie Young-hee doll in Red Light Green Light, test their nerves on the treacherous Glass Bridge, and go all-out in an epic game of Marbles. The stakes are high but rest assured – once the game is complete – all players can revel in their success or forget their failures at the Night Market featuring authentic Korean snacks and exclusive merchandise.

The experience will be open 7 days a week and tickets can be purchased online or from the ticket box office at Luna Park Sydney.

Squid Game: Season 2 is streaming on Netflix from December 26th, 2024.
