Redfern pub The Tudor introduces big changes to food, drink, and design (Sydney)

Long-standing Redfern pub The Tudor has taken a big step forward this year, introducing a new chef, a brand-new menu, and a redesign which sees the dark and dated interiors reformed into bright, welcoming spaces. Aimed at furthering their status as a local hub for Redfern, the team behind the venue have injected it with a completely new look and feel consistent throughout the main space, the courtyard, and The Nook.

With a new look comes a new taste and recently appointed Head Chef Nikki Shaw (ex The Glenmore) has spruced up the menu with dishes like cider-battered Flathead Fillet, juicy The Tudor House Steak, and a seriously epic looking burger.

The drinks menu has seen a similar overhaul, accompanied by plans to introduce brand new beer taps to re-focus on craft varieties and an Australian-centric wine list. Most notable is the new, colourful range of cocktail pitchers (pictured above).

The venue’s neighbouring bottle shop has been re-branded as Redfern Liquor and will remain one of the most well stocked bottle shops in the area.
