Dee Why Hotel is bringing the beastly Trufflenator burger to Woollahra for one day only (Sydney)

Those who have been to Dee Why Hotel know that their beloved beast-of-a-burger The Trufflenator means business. It’s a serious smack of flavour with rare fungus used to create a unique truffle mayo that brings character to the stack with double Wagyu beef, truffle butter, truffle infused provolone, truffle maple syrup, crispy bacon, American cheddar, and crunchy onion rings between a Japanese milk bun. Somehow they’ve made that head-spinning combination work and for one day only, the team are bringing it down to the kitchen at Woollahra’s The Light Brigade.

This Thursday 17th March is your only chance to head along for this one-day residency, where the burger will be available for $18.50 (note that the fries in the headline photo are not included) for lunch from 12pm to 3pm and dinner 6pm to 9pm (or until they run out!). It will be located on the ground level Brigade Bar of the historic, recently refurbished gastro pub.

“When we introduced The Trufflenator burger at Dee Why Hotel, we had no idea how patrons would react. All the feedback we’ve received so far has been overwhelmingly positive, so we are thrilled to be able to bring the hotel’s signature dish into the hands of East Sydney’s burger enthusiasts!” Says Kaine Bayfield, Group General Manager at Bayfield Hotels, which proudly takes ownership of both The Light Brigade and Dee Why Hotel.

Those worried about consistency need no fret as Dee Why Hotel’s Head Chef Brad Johnston will be on-hand to ensure each burger sold is made to the same standard.
