Iconic Potts Point institution Gazebo is getting a bit of a makeover, redefining itself with a new Mediterranean inspired menu, a wine list that champions regional and international names, and music to bring the community together.
The move to a more culinary Mediterranean experience includes the introduction of shared plates, a wider range of local and international cheeses as well as aged and cured meats. Themed weekly courses will also run. A special 2-course Week Day Lunch, available every Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 4pm, is $25 and designed for those looking to move meetings from the boardroom to the wine garden. Tuesday nights see the introduction of Made in Italy Tuesdays, which will feature authentic Italian-style pizza, Italian cheese, wine, house-made Limoncello and Spiced Negronis, all enjoyed with live music and DJs.
Head Chef, Sam Bull, has designed the extensive selection of cheese and charcuterie to be enjoyed with the impressive wine list. “We’ve designed our new menu to provide plenty of options to match food with wine,” he explains. “Build your own cheese board or select a single serve of your favourite cheese. Smash a large main or walk in and order the feast – the menu allows you to celebrate great food whatever the occasion.”
Gazebo retains its reputation for housing an impressive wine list. It honours the boutique wineries and winemakers nationally and internationally, and is carefully curated (and categorised by weight, texture and mouth-feel) by Keystone’s Director of Wine, Chris Morrison.
