Heineken will be celebrating global cultural, culinary, musical and art contributions which have positively helped shape and influence Australia’s diversity as part of a City Shapers Festival which will span across Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. Whilst all capital cities will share in the fun it seems Melbourne is set for a truly memorable experience with guests being taken to a secret location for a party of epic proportions.
A lucky few will get to rub shoulders with some familiar Aussie faces as they board a unique Heineken train to a spontaneously set-up festival space jammed with emulations of bustling cities and iconic venues from around the world, held in Melbourne (see date below). A range of surprises will be revealed throughout the night culminating into a performance by a yet to be named international act.
Heineken have also teamed up with Melbourne street artists, Apparition Media who will be creating a series of striking murals designed to shape the way each city looks, alongside a whole bunch of special light installations.
Heineken street art/events will materialise at the following locations and dates:
- Sydney: Freda’s, 7pm 13th July
- Brisbane: Kerbside, Fortitude Valley, 7pm 20th July
- Perth: The Stables, 7pm 27th July
- Melbourne: Meet at Southern Cross station to be taken to a secret location at 7pm 4th August
To be part of the main Melbourne event punters will need to enter to win tickets by heading to www.heinekencitiesfestival.com.au
Heineken are also releasing 18 special City edition bottles, available across Australia throughout July which capture the soul and vibrancy of some of the hipper, trendier cities such as Amsterdam, London, Rio, New York, Johannesburg, Seoul and Berlin.
