Just a few months ago Sydney welcomed in a second epic aerial adventure park after half a decade of planning, giving Olympic Park’s popular Urban Jungle an exciting sibling structure. Since then Skypeak Adventures has been attracting kids both big and small for something a bit more thrilling than your typical day out, offering a series of obstacle courses and challenges like barrel runs, rope climbs, trapeze swings, and bridge walks, suspended 8 storeys above ground (don’t worry, all climbers wear harnesses and a cable).
Sounds awesome? Yeah, it’s about to get a whole lot better this weekend. On Saturday 29th October, Skypeak Adventures will be throwing their hat in the ring for Halloween, transforming into a Tree of Terror. This means that all the above activities – including more like bike riding and the “Momentum Leap of Death” – will be taking on a nightmarish twist, with the Skypeak team fully decking the playground with skulls, skeletons, bats, spider webs, tombstones, and even zombies who will roam the course.
Those heading along will also be able to dine at the picnic table which is suspended 9 metres over a void, but the team promise that not even this reliable spot of peace, quiet, and high tea will be enough to escape the terrors planned.
Anyone attending the aerial Halloween party is encouraged to dress up for the occasion as there will be prizes given out, as well as one of those inescapable photobooths to help you immortalise your inventive threads.
