A two day Malaysian cultural festival is coming to Sydney this weekend

This weekend in Sydney will see a two-day celebration of Malaysia and its culture as Malaysia Fest pops up in Pyrmont Bay Park. The free entry festival will channel Sydney’s love of the South East Asian country and its melting pot of flavours with entertainment, fashion, and of course food curated to showcase the best sides of the country’s Malay, Indian and Chinese influence.

This year the annual event has managed to bring in stalls from some of the country’s best Malaysian restaurants, including Chinta Ria, the great Hawker, and Kampung Boy. All will be bringing their specialty dishes to set up alongside stalls touting cooking sauces and pastes, beverages, snacks and desserts.

Tourism Malaysia will also have a presence at the festival, ready and willing to highlight the country’s various attractions and cultural touchstones for those looking to visit.
