There’s a food truck travelling around Sydney giving out free sliders this month

The headline says it all really. Across five days during the week starting 15th Jan there will be a food truck pulling up to various locations around Sydney, giving away free sliders. Popular ex-Masterchef contestant Hayden Quinn and Hellmann’s have teamed up to man the vehicle, taking two of the chef’s recipes and hitting the road with everywhere from Manly to Liverpool in mind.

Each stop will be between 10am and 5pm, giving people the chance to rock up and score a free slider of either Hayden’s Classic Cheeseburger with mayonnaise (feature image), or his Japanese Crispy Calamari Burger with slaw and yuzu kosho mayonnaise. Both of these burgers recipes have been adapted to slider form and are being offered for free, with no limitations for anyone is able to order both.

The first stop will see the Hellmann’s truck parked up at Manly Wharf on Sunday 15th January. Monday 16th will then have it travel to Westfield Chatswood for a spot on Spring Street; 16th will have it at NAB Foodcourt in the CBD (near 225 George St); 18th is Westfield Liverpool’s turn (near Campbell St); and finally the truck will finish it’s fun at Palm Grove, Darling Harbour (near the IMAX) on Thursday 19th January.

Note that the burgers pictured above will be offered as sliders.
