Just a few weeks ago a heartbroken woman left a voicemail message for Messina, essentially cutting ties with them because she couldn’t get her favourite dessert on New Year’s Eve. The dominate dessert demigods may not have won her back by standing outside of her window with a boombox raised above their head, but we think their way of making it up to her – and us for some glorious reason – is just as sweet.
For two hours this afternoon (3pm to 5pm), Messina will be using Deliveroo to deliver (git it?) their special edition Voicemail flavour to anyone around either the CBD or Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, or the South Yarra and Fitzroy districts of Melbourne; for $1 per 500ml tub.
The Voicemail is a tempting mix of salted caramel gelato with baked cheesecake, candied macadamia nuts and hazelnut fudge. It’s also being offered as a special in Messina stores as of today, but Deliveroo customers have a chance to get onto this exclusive $1 offer for today only.
