Darlo Country Club launches Parisian inspired St-Germain brunch sessions (Sydney)

This past weekend was the beginning of a new weekly series at Darlinghurst favourite Darlo Country Club. The St-Germain Brunch Club will help transform the venue into an old-world Paris vibe with live music, a curated menu and, of course, bespoke Elderflower infused cocktails from now until September.

Guests are transported to a 1920s Parisian décor, with live music from the era to aid the effect. The Brunch club is aiming to celebrate the art of L’aperitif, the French manner of slowing down to get ready for the inevitable joys of the day to come – the philosophy at the heart of St Germain.

“I can’t wait to see the brunch scene to bloom in Sydney to rival New York, London and of course Paris, where great music, cocktails and food all come together in a stylish party atmosphere in the middle of the day, said Camille Ralph Vidal, St-Germain’s Global Brand Ambassador.

“In true St Germain style we’ve added a twist by recreating the glamour of 1920s Paris. “Those who attend the St-Germain Brunch Club will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a unique Parisian culture of frivolity whilst enjoying St-Germain sparkling cocktails with their closest friends.”

Three brunch packages will be on offer from $65, including a six course French-inspired set menu with the St-Germain Spritz on arrival, plus optional St-Germain and champagne beverage packages.Executive chef Lew’s banquet-style set menu is a mix of decadent breakfast and lunch dishes, the “perfect mix of both worlds”. Starting with elderflower yogurt pots and granola and croissants, to salmon gravlax and blinis, pan roasted chicken Nicoise salad, and progress to strawberry and St Germain crepes flambéed at the table. A St-Germain Spritz will be served on arrival, and four other signature St Germain cocktails can be paired throughout the meal plus optional champagne beverage packages.

The St Germain Brunch Club will run until September 9 with brunch packages varying from $65 to $105. Bookings are essential and must be made through the Darlo Country Club Website.
