Sydney Harbour’s three-day Wine Island festival returns this November

We have to go back! To where? To Wine Island of course, Sydney’s idyllic three-day wine festival which takes place entirely on the harbour’s picturesque Clark Island. The typically Sydney event will returning from Friday 10th to Sunday 12 November, offering guests access to a pop-up paradise featuring curated selections of wine, food, live music, silent discos, masterclasses, treasure hunts and a bunch of other activities.

Everything head along to Wine Island this year will be shipped over to the boozy getaway on specialised “Bubble Boats”, glass of sparkling in hand, before being immersed in a decked out island filled with winemakers and their wares, with plenty of spacious areas to sit and soak up one of the defining views of Sydney Harbour.

Last year’s popular music and wine matching masterclasses will be hosted again this year, as well as “The Silent Disco Drops” and the sugary Dessert Island, where guests will be able to focus on pairing dessert wines and sweets. In terms of new additions, for 2017 Wine Island is adding their very own superyacht to the line-up, accessible to the more high-rolling wine lovers with exclusive transport followed by private masterclasses and “culinary experiences”.

Ticket prices and package will be announced in the coming weeks before they go on sale from September 1st through wineisland.com.au.
