One of Sydney’s finest cocktail bars, Eau De Vie, has just started a new partnership with Star of Bombay that has resulted in an exclusively-designed custom martini trolley that will be available at the venue to reflect the ceremonial ritual of the classic martini services influenced by iconic hotel bars throughout history. The bespoke theatrical style with which these will be served will be informed by the various stories behind each classic expression.
“We’re really excited to bring the Star of Bombay Martini Trolley to Sydney, offering contemporary twists to the classic martini and allowing [guests] to experiment with bitter, brine and garnishes to create their very own personalised martini concoction”, explained Eau De Vie General Manager Russ McFadden.
The trolley service, which launched late last week, will feature three different expressions of a martini alongside the ability to customise and experiment. These include The Edwardian (a twist on the sweet noted Hanky Panky cocktail from The Savoy Hotel of 1903), The Madga Martini (inspired by Ian Flemming’s iconic Bond series and The Dukes Hotel in London), and The Simpson Martini (an Eau De Vie take on the traditional dirty martini served at the prominent Connaught Hotel in London).
