Over the next three days, Melbourne locals will be able to get their hands on a free pair of prescription glasses as popular online retailer VisionDirect.com.au opens its very first Vision Direct Optical Centre in the heart of the CBD. They’ll be going large for their opening week, committing 100 free premium acetate frames and prescription lenses for a first come, first serve basis, which locals can walk away with if they rock up between today and Thursday 28th June.
Anyone wanting a freebie just needs to be one of the first 100 customers to walk through those brand new doors, located at 535-555 Bourke Street. You’ll need to book an eye test with Vision Direct’s in-house Optometrist in the aforementioned date range, but don’t worry, it’s bulk-billed (obviously have your Medicare card on you). To sweeten the deal (as if free glasses ain’t sweet enough) St Ali are providing free coffee for all customers as well.
Vision Direct are best known for their incredibly comprehensive catalogue of high-end designers products, which will be reflected in the new store. This list includes Marc Jacobs, Garret Leight, Calvin Klein, Mont Blanc and Porsche Design.
