20 diverse productions make up Parramatta’s Riverside Theatres‘ 2017 program, featuring resident company National Theatre of Parramatta, as well as major companies from across Australia and international touring productions.
“Every great city has a great theatre,” said Riverside Theatres Program Manager Michelle Kotevski. “As Parramatta grows to take its place as a global city, Riverside Theatres’ 2017 program of sophisticated, diverse and virtuosic performing arts from around the world reflects the city’s vibrancy.”
Highlights include shake & stir theatre co‘s adaptation of Dracula, What Rhymes with Cars and Girls from Melbourne Theatre Company, the world premiere of David William‘s Smurf in Wonderland, and iconic Indigenous masterwork The 7 Stages of Grieving, written by Sydney Festival Director Wesley Enoch and starring Deborah Mailman.
