Melbourne’s Owen Rabbit has announced a brief European tour on the back of his recent singles, “Weeds”, “Holy Holy”, and “Denny’s”. The tour will see him play at the iconic music industry showcase The Great Escape in addition to showcases like The Aussie BBQ and venues like Sound Gallery.
His DIY experimental-electronica sounds have made him an artist to watch as Rabbit combines themes of pop, jazz, soul, post-hardcore and electronica – whilst looping sounds made with toys and rubbish. His debut self-titled EP is due for release in July.
For those not planning a European trip any time soon you can catch Owen Rabbit in Australia supporting Triple J Unearthed Laneway Festival competition winners A.D.K.O.B.
