Mad Men’s Jon Hamm joins the cast of Black Mirror for 2014 Christmas Special.

For those fans of the excellent British television series Black Mirror, exciting news has emerged surrounding any new episodes! The show, which has earned acclaim for its standalone drama format, with its modern Twilight Zone bent, has had a Christmas Special commissioned due to be broadcast on UK free-to-air station, Channel 4. The feature length special is described as being ‘Three interwoven stories of Yuletide techno-paranoia’ and will star Mad Men’s Jon Hamm. With the popular US advertising period drama wrapping on its final season in 2015, Hamm joins prominent British actor Rafe Spall and Game of Thrones’ Oona Chaplin, where Hamm’s character will appear in all three stories.

Previous Black Mirror episodes have featured the likes of Domhnall GleesonRory KinnearLindsay Duncan  and Rupert Everett and has produced two seasons of three epsiodes each so far in its run. The filming of this Christmas run of episodes begins in London this week.
