This episode features Emma Thompson who is possibly the best talk show guest ever; she’s always unpredictable and hilariously funny. Plus, she pairs up with Michael Cera against Fallon and Jim Parsons for an awesomely fun game of Password. To make a great show even better, Fallon does his famous Thank You notes segment and comedian Dane Cook stops by.
Joni Mitchell: Woman of Heart And Mind, Bio., 9:30pm AEST
A fantastic and detailed documentary of Joni Mitchell’s life and music, complete with historical footage and interviews with the singer. Directed by Stephanie Bennett and written by Susan Lacy, this is a must watch for Joni Mitchell fans.

Evan Davis’ profile of the fascinating character of Steve Jobs looks at the corporate rise of the self-confessed hippy, from dropping out of college and taking acid to becoming the influential innovator and technological guru we remember him as. Interviewees include Stephen Fry and Steve Wozniak.
Superman Returns, GO! 8:30pm AEST
Starring Brandon Routh as Superman and Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, the film follows Superman coming back to Earth after a mysterious absence. It’s a solid action and adventure film for a Wednesday night in.
No Country for Old Men, ONE, 9:30pm AEST
The critically acclaimed No Country for Old Men is directed and written by the Coen Brothers and stars Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin. In Texas, Llewellyn Moss (Brolin) stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and takes the money for himself, becoming a target for relentless assassin Anton Chigurh (Bardem). Violent, brutal and compelling, it is no wonder this film took out the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2008.
