Starring Brad Pitt and Logan Lerman, Fury is a highly anticipated American war film directed and written by David Ayer who is best known for his work in End of Watch and Sabotage. The film is set during World War II and centres around the main character, Wardaddy (Brad Pitt), and his crew of men, undertaking a deadly mission which puts his and the men’s lives in danger.
Today, as the film is released in cinemas, we get the chance to look at an exclusive featurette and a clip, showcasing snippets of its production and what can be expected from the film.
The featurette shows behind-the-scenes production of the film and its intention of “recreating hell”, providing various montages from Fury and quick snapshots of the how the cast relive the setting of 1945, World War II. The production team have described it as a coming-of-age film that highly illustrates the tumultuous journey the men face when embarking on the war between themselves and Nazi Germany.
In the film clip, we see Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman), vulnerable as ever as he is demanded by Wardaddy to shoot at a trespassing enemy. Does Norman pull the trigger? Who knows. You’ll have to find out for yourself!
