Full House, the ever popular 80’s sitcom is making a comeback after a big announcement by Netflix.
Entitled Fuller House, the sequel will pick up the story in present times as the former teenage members of the house are now grown up with kids of their own.
Many original cast members will reprise their roles. DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) is now the widowed and pregnant, living in San Francisco and working as a vet.
DJ’s sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) is now an aspiring musician while DJ’s best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) is a single mother.
Set to air in 2016, the opening episode will Stephanie and Kimmy move in with DJ to help her manage her growing family.
While discussions are still ongoing with Bob Saget, David Coulier, Lori Loughlin and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, John Stamos will return to the cast and as an executive producer. He will join former producers Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller and Jeff Franklin.
