In the lead up to the release of Terminator Genisys we take a look at a featurette with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke discussing the “The Guardian”.
With the much older Arnie going up against his younger Terminator self it’s a case of two for the price of one! But the role of “The Guardian” (Schwarzenegger) is both protector and father-figure to Sarah Connor (Clarke), who not only learns from him but relies on him to survive.

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future.

Check out our favourite photos from Arnie and Jai Courteney’s visit to Sydney on 4 June 2015.

Terminator Genisys will screen in Australian cinemas on 1 July 2015 through Paramount Pictures Australia
