Bill Bryson’s bestselling book, A Walk in the Woods, has been turned into an upcoming film and will be released across Australian cinemas on the 3rd of September, 2015. Ahead of this, there will be preview screenings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in August, where Bill Bryson himself will hold exclusive Q&A sessions in celebration of its release.
A Walk in the Woods, starring Robert Redford, Nick Nolte and Emma Thompson, is a comedy following the travel writer Bill Bryson and his friend Katz as they trek over 2,100 miles through the spectacular Appalachian Trail in America. The pair test the limits of their friendship in this adventure, as they come across a variety of bizarre characters, animals, wild weather and more.
