Smite arrives on Xbox One August 20

Developer Hi-Rez Studios have announced that their free-to-play gods-and-mythology MOBA will have its official launch on Xbox One later this week.

The launch comes following an extensive beta period and will feature a number of upgrades and changes from the beta version, including a new arena and conquest map, a new Assault game mode and new heroes like Medusa, Ah Puch, Ratatoskr, Ravana (all balanced in accordance with their PC counterparts). The best upgrade of all, however? Australian servers. Thank the many gods available in the game for such beneficence.

There’s more upgrades on the way as the launch roll out moves forward including a spectator mode, updated UI’s for the friends screen and VGS, and support for a season ticket.

For those players running Windows 10 and wanting to play on Xbox One, you can merge your account now to use your account and all your content across both versions.
