It’s usually an agonisingly long time between issues for Valve’s ongoing, hysterically funny comic based on Team Fortress 2. Usually released once every six months, Issue #5 has arrived out of nowhere and it’s a doozy.
When Issue #4 released in October last year, fans assumed we would need to wait a little while to find out what was going to happen to Ms. Pauling and the mercs. We did not expect to have to wait almost an entire year.
We get all sorts of great new background info about the game from this issue – more female Pyro references, we finally find out what the hell Medic has been up to, whether or not Sniper really is dead and a surprising secret about the Administrator and her plans is revealed.
Issue #5 is out now and you can read it online for free right here. Drink it in because it might be another year before Issue #6 arrives.
