Star Wars: Episode VIII starts filming in London; announces cast additions

The filming of Star Wars: Episode VIII has begun with principle photography at Pinewood Studios in London. We left off Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Rey taking her first steps, and now her journey continues with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga.

Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Along with cast from the previous film, new cast members have been announced including Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran..

Star Wars: Episode VIII is scheduled for release 14th December 2017
