R-rated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Extended Edition coming

A report by the Motion Picture Association of America has revealed that an R-rated cut of the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is in the works.

The ‘Ultimate Edition’ cut of the film will be released alongside the film’s DVD and Blu-ray release later in the year.

The cut of Zack Sydner‘s upcoming superhero movie is expected to contain bonus scenes that bump it up from the theatrical cut’s rating of PG.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice releases on March 24th 2016.
