Fetch TV picks up Comedy Central

Fetch TV, Australia’s internet based subscription service is about to get a whole lot funnier as gets prepped for it’s latest addition, Comedy Central.

Hitting Fetch exclusively on the 1st  of April, Comedy Central will deliver 24 hour laughs, all day every day. The 100% comedy dedicated channel will host a slew of comedy series from the U.S. such as Workaholics, Inside Amy SchumerTosh.0, Broad City, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and more, as well as a wide selection of stand-up comedy showcases for those live event comedy lovers. The channel will also include  the Comedy Central Roasts series of specials, Comedy Central favourites, including Key and Peele, Chappelle’s Show, Drawn Together, Drunk History and Nathan for You, as well as a bunch of other ridiculously funny stuff including Aussie absurdist sketch group Aunty Donna.  The channel will also be the Fetch TV home to one of the most iconic U.S. comedy series of all time, Friends.

To celebrate the momentous launch, Comedy Central has joined forces with Spectrum Now Festival to entice the stars and co-creators of the hit U.S. series Workaholics– Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck – down-under for the very first time to host two nights of stand-up laughs at Comedy Central Presents: A Night of Stand Up with Workaholics and Special Guests.  The first-ever Comedy Central event to be staged in Australia, which has already sold out both nights, will be filmed and broadcast on the new Comedy Central channel.

Comedy Central will hit Fetch TV on April 1.
