Two brand new character art posters have been revealed by Legendary Pictures for the upcoming Warcraft movie.
The first hitting social media yesterday of half-orc, half-human Garona. Heralded “the survivor” the character is portrayed by Paula Patton and is “Torn Between Worlds.”
Today we had new artwork of both Durotan (Toby Kebbell) and Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) the leaders of the Horde and the Alliance, staring at each other from opposite sides of the poster, accompanied by the tagline “Legends stand Together.”
There has also been a variant international movie poster released for the high fantasy, epic adventure film, with the only obvious difference to the one we saw last week being that Durotan and Lothar are both sporting the same splash of bold paint on their faces we saw in the very first character posters back in November last year.
Based on the worldwide phenomenon World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment, the Legendary and Universal Pictures fantasy epic Warcraft: The Beginning is directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and stars Australian actor Travis Fimmel (Vikings) as Anduin Lothar, Paula Patton as Garona, Ben Foster as Medivh, Dominic Cooper as King Llane, Toby Kebbell as Durotan, Ben Schnetzer as Khadgar, Rob Kazinsky as Orgrim Doomhammer and Daniel Wu as Gul’dan.
The highly anticipated, big budget film, opens May 30 in the UK, June 10 in the US, and on June 16 in Australia.
