Ryan Reynolds closes deal for Deadpool sequel

As Deadpool surpasses The Matrix Reloaded to become the highest-grossing R-rated movie in box office history after grossing over $754,530,050 worldwide, it should come as no surprise that Fox are already moving forward with the sequel.

In February, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Reynolds only made $2 million dollars from the film. However, the word is that negotiations for the sequel have concluded with Reynolds set to take home a bigger cut the second time around.

Reynolds is now locked in to return as the Merc with Mouth when production on Deadpool 2 kicks off later this year.

Deadpool 2 is expected to release in early 2018.
