The big-hearted, character-driven ensemble film takes place in a dusty old pawnbroker’s in the heart of Footscray, where world-weary owner Les Underwood (John Brumpton) watches as the lives of people who come through his doors collide, change and unravel. From blossoming romance to desperate last gambles, these twelve individuals’ stories represent the best and the worst of one day in the life of Melbourne’s most hopeful and giddily mixed-up suburb.

Pawno is opening nationally the 21st of April will be screening in Melbourne at The Sun, The Lido, The Classic, The Cameo, Village cinemas at Sunshine, Southland and the Jam Factory and Hoyts at Highpoint. And in Sydney will be screening at Palace Chauvel and Hoyts Cinema Paris. To celebrate its upcoming release we’ve got TEN double passes to give away!
