Emily Blunt to star in Mary Poppins sequel film for Christmas 2018

It’s been reported on The Wrap , that Into The Woods star Emily Blunt will be starring in Gary Marshall’s upcoming Mary Poppins sequel film. It’s been anticipated that the title will be released during Christmas 2018.

The film will be set in Depression-era London and will follow the story of Jane and Michael Banks and his three children being visited by the enigmatic woman Mary Poppins (Blunt) after experiencing a personal loss. Through the use of her unique magic skills, Poppins helps the family realise the joy and wonder that’s been missing in their lives.
